MJCBY Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED Training

MJCBY's Security Committee works hard to ensure that we provide a welcoming, safe, and secure home for our community to thrive. As part of these efforts, we are hosting Adult and Pediatric CPR/AED courses that are open to our congregation and community.

Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) is an emergency lifesaving procedure performed when the heart stops beating (cardiac arrest). An Automated External Defibrillator (AED) is a portable medical device that delivers an electric shock to restore normal heart rhythm. When used by a trained individual, these procedures can save a life before emergency medical teams arrive.

MJCBY is hosting three identical sessions to ensure that we can train as many of our congregants as possible. The course costs $40 through MJCBY, which is half the cost of what other providers charge. After completion, you will receive your certification through the American Heart Association

Instructor: Matt Nicosia, EMT & First Aid Instructor
This course is open to ages 10+.
