This year we are discussing the life, times, theology and philosophy of Emil Fackenheim. Emil Fackenheim was considered to be the leading Jewish Philosopher and Theologian of the 20th century. Together we will trace his thinking from a study of Revelation to his focus on the Holocaust as the event that ruptured history. It was his work that brought about the idea of the "614th Commandment".
